Limitação do cálculo Kepleriano

As posições acima usam elementos osculadores a uma data de referência, propagados adiante via solução da equação de Kepler. Isso ignora perturbações gravitacionais (principalmente Júpiter para asteroides do cinturão). Para janelas curtas (meses a 1-2 anos), o erro típico é de poucas centenas de arcosegundos.

Para predições de longa duração, aproximação próxima à Terra (NEOs como Apophis 2029), ou cometas perto do periélio com efeito não-gravitacional (Halley, Hale-Bopp), recomendamos consultar JPL Horizons que usa efemérides numéricas (DE440) com perturbações completas.

Vamos atualizar os elementos osculadores a cada 1-2 anos para manter a precisão em janelas relevantes para divulgação científica.
