One place for every celestial body
This section gathers the moving objects of the sky in one spot. The planets change position night after night, comets come and go on long orbits, asteroids drift through the background of stars and the Moon runs its phases. Each tool answers a direct question, where something is now and when it will be visible, without you having to open a separate site for each one.
The star atlas is the fixed part of the picture. While planets and comets wander, the constellations stay put, and they work as a map to find everything else. Start from a bright star you recognise, follow it to a constellation and the planets passing nearby fall into place.
