Limitacao do calculo Kepleriano

As posicoes acima usam elementos osculadores a uma data de referencia, propagados adiante via solucao da equacao de Kepler. Isso ignora perturbacoes gravitacionais (principalmente Jupiter para asteroides do cinturao). Para janelas curtas (meses a 1-2 anos), o erro tipico e de poucas centenas de arcosegundos.

Para predicoes de longa duracao, aproximacao proxima a Terra (NEOs como Apophis 2029), ou cometas perto do perielio com efeito nao-gravitacional (Halley, Hale-Bopp), recomendamos consultar JPL Horizons que usa efemerides numericas (DE440) com perturbacoes completas.

Vamos atualizar os elementos osculadores a cada 1-2 anos para manter a precisao em janelas relevantes para divulgacao cientifica.
